Gayle Ball

(July 3, 1922—March 30, 2009)

Widow of fellow Moore Student B. J. Ball.  Gayle met Joe in one of Dr. Moore’s undergraduate classes and they married in 1947.  He received a Ph.D. under Moore in 1952 and went on to a distinguished career at Virginia and Georgia.
