R.L. Moore (1904) After graduating from The University of Texas, Moore spent an academic year (1902-03) teaching high school mathematics in Marshall, Texas. He continued at The University of Chicago, where supervised by O. Veblen, he was awarded his Ph.D. in 1905 for his dissertation, Sets of Metrical Hypotheses for Geometry. |
