Discovering the Art of Mathematics and Project PRIME: Developing Books to Support Inquiry-Based Learning

As part of a proposed NSF CCLI grant that is also generously supported by Mr. Harry Lucas we are working on developing books to support inquiry-based learning. In our talk we will illustrate the topics we have already started developing and using in our classes. We will also share our ideas and work towards evaluating changes in affect and beliefs. Our target audience is liberal arts students who are taking mathematics courses as a general core requirement.
